Dr. Carl Ritch, O.D.

Doctor of Optometry · Owner

Florida-trained. Working in eyecare since 2004.

Dr. Carl Ritch is a Florida native who has worked in eyecare since 2004. He earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Florida and his Doctor of Optometry from Nova Southeastern University, with an internship at the VA Medical Center in Gainesville.

Over two decades he has worked across private practice, VA medical centers, and retail optometry — a range that informs how he treats patients today: thorough disease management without the corporate feel. His clinical focus is on glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and the fitting of specialty contact lenses for patients other practices have given up on.

Dr. Ritch has served in the Air National Guard since 2003. The role has taken him through humanitarian projects, hurricane relief efforts, and overseas deployments — and he brings that operational mindset back to the clinic: prepared, calm, and decisive when it counts.

Off the clock he is at the water — fishing, paddleboarding the Brevard County coast — or in the kitchen experimenting with something. He volunteers with local dog rescues.

Clinical focus

  • Ocular disease management
  • Glaucoma
  • Diabetic retinopathy
  • Macular degeneration

Dr. Justin Hrabinski, O.D.

Doctor of Optometry

Second-generation optometrist. Full-scope, by design.

Dr. Justin Hrabinski grew up in Somerset County, New Jersey, watching his father run an optometry practice — which is where the path started. He earned a bachelor's in biology from Rutgers and his Doctor of Optometry from Nova Southeastern University in May 2024.

He practices to the full scope of his license — diagnosing and treating ocular disease as part of routine care, not as a referral handoff. He relocated to Indian Harbour Beach in 2023 and is now a member of both the Florida Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association.

When he isn't seeing patients, he is in the water — surfing, scuba diving, fishing.

Clinical focus

  • Full-scope optometric care
  • Ocular disease diagnosis and treatment

Both doctors see patients at this location.
